The Springfield Museum has a wide selection of exhibits to explore and activities in which to participate whether you're a longtime resident, visitor, or student wanting to learn more about the community and its rich history. When planning your visit, please keep the following in mind so that you have the best possible experience.

Hours & Admission

HOURS: The Museum is open the following days/hours:

• Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  
• Fridays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Open every second Friday for Downtown Springfield's ArtWalk from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

ADMISSION:

• The Springfield Museum is FREE for all visitors to enjoy. We gratefully except donations which allows us to keep our doors open to everyone, regardless of their financial scenario

Getting Here

The Museum is located in downtown Springfield at 590 Main Street, which is on the corner of 6th and Main Street, one block south of the Springfield Library. Parking is located on both streets and there are off-street spaces available in a lot on the west side of the Museum, accessible from Main Street.
